ABOUT

Ricky Hsiao, Xiao Huangqi, Hsiao Huang-chi (蕭煌奇) is a famous visually disable male, Taiwanese singer, songwriter, former judoka (2nd dan black belt) and a therapeutic masseuse.

TRIVIA

-Height: 5' 9" (1.75 m) 
- He represented Taiwan in FESPIC Games in Beijing in 1994, where he won the bronze title and placed seventh at the 1996 Atlanta Paralympics. 
-2008 Ricky won Best Male Vocalist Taiwanese award at the 19th Golden Melody Awards
-Rickyy was blinded at birth because of his congenital cataracts. 
-At age four, he had surgery that enable him to see partially. As the years went by his vision slowly deteriorated. At age 15, while playing at a basketball game he lost his sight completely.
-He got a license to practice as a therapeutic masseur in high school. 
-2012, he opened a massage clinic in Taipei, that employs blind and deaf people.
