2016: First appearance

Sung Dam first appeared on the first episode of the TV show Duet Song Festival where she sang a duet with Min Kyung Hoon, the lead vocalist of the rock band Buzz.

2018: Beginning as a singer and OST

She took part in a event organized by her label "Million Free Market Busking Project 2018". The goal of the project was to promote their new artists by having them perform in public areas. There, she sang for the first time her first self-written song "Season". "Season" was then chosen to be part of the OST of the drama Devilish Joy, making it her unofficial debut. On September 19, the OST was released.

2019: Debut

On April 7, she released her official solo debut single under Million Market titled "Night Night".

On July 4, she released her second single "Rain".
2020: First Mini Album

On January 24, "The Moon Remembers", her first mini album, was released.
