Xiao Changgui and others came to the village and found the surviving grandparents by accident. They explained their identities and purpose to the North Korean uncle, and asked the direction of Xinxingli, and learned that they were going in the wrong direction. It takes two days. Xiao Changgui called Dabao and asked him to go back and tell the company commander about it.

Qilian found traces of US tanks in the snow and realized that Xiao Changgui and the others were very likely to be in danger. Sure enough, a group of U.S. troops came to the village and exchanged fire with Xiao Changgui and others. Xiao Changgui narrowly won because of an ambush. Just as everyone was cleaning the battlefield and marveling at the mechanized equipment of the U.S. military, U.S. warplanes had discovered their existence and immediately ordered to bomb the village.

Wu Qianli was going to lead the second platoon to rescue Xiao Changgui and others who were trapped in the village, while Mei Sheng was going to continue on his way to Xinxingli with the rest of the troops. Taking advantage of everyone's inattention, Wu Wanli turned around and left the team to look for Wu Qianli. At this time, reinforcements from the U.S. military rushed to Chosun Village and exchanged fire with Xiao Changgui and the others again, but they were outnumbered and had already fallen into the predicament of running out of ammunition and food.

U.S. reinforcements swarmed in like weeds one after another. Xiao Changgui and Lao Fang were already ready to die together. At the critical moment, Wu Qianli appeared with the second platoon, and a few sniper cannons caught the American devils off guard and turned the tide of the battle. Wu Wanli ran all the way to avoid the hail of bullets, and finally reunited with his second brother Wu Qianli. Everyone took advantage of the U.S. military's inattention and broke through all the way, but they were still attacked by U.S. tanks.

During this period, Wu Wanli hid in a corner tremblingly. Rather than saying that he came to help Wu Qianli, he was more like a burden to everyone. On the other hand, other soldiers cooperated tacitly and risked their lives to blow up the tanks. The US military could not carry out large-scale bombing. Soon several fighter planes bombed the village, but Wu Qianli and the others had already left and hurried to Xinxingli.

Now Liu Liushun has brought the soldiers of the fifth company to the designated ambush position, closely watching every move of the base of the polar bear regiment, and waiting for the arrival of the seventh company. The U.S. logistics airdrops fell not far from the fifth company's hiding place. A group of U.S. troops came to look for the airdropped supplies, and even found the soldiers of the fifth company, forcing them to launch an attack in advance, completely exposing the action plan.

On the other side, the Seventh Company seized a lot of canned food from the U.S. military, but everyone was reluctant to eat it, and gave it to the wounded. Because of the damaged compass, Qilian went the wrong way and wasted too much time, so now they have to rush to Xinxingli as soon as possible. In order to keep everyone's strength, Wu Qianli ordered everyone to eat canned food.

Wu Wanli made mistakes again and again and never corrected them. Occasionally, he would feel annoyed because he was afraid that he would not be able to show off to his friends when he returned to the village. Lao Fang comforted Wu Wanli that no one is perfect, and told him about Wu Qianli's mistakes. Wu Qianli took the initiative to tell him that he did not obey the discipline and insisted on rushing to blow up the bunker over and over again, and finally Hu Maocai sacrificed to save him. Because Wu Qianli made a mistake that killed his comrades, he did not allow anyone to disobey orders on the battlefield. Wu Wanli felt a little uncomfortable, and gradually realized his mistake.

On the other hand, Mei Sheng led the rest of the troops and continued on the road. Detours were completely unworkable, so he had to endure the discomfort in his eyes and cross the snow-capped mountains. During this period, someone suddenly passed out and became blind in both eyes. Mei Sheng knew that he was suffering from snow blindness, and even his own eyes had problems, making seeing people and things very blurry.
