With the recent and sudden death of KPOP idol Goo Hara, many celebrities have decided to either cancel or postpone upcoming events and appearances. "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty" actress Im Soo Hyang was among those who canceled her appearance at 24th Culture and Entertainment Awards for the 25th of November, who being reported to have been close friends with the departed understandably needed time to grieve for her friend.
Others included the KPOP girl group MAMAMOO, who cancelled a live Twitter Blue Room broadcast originally scheduled to take place on November 24. The KBS travel variety show segment "Jung Hae In's Walking Report" has reportedly also cancelled its press conference, scheduled to take place on the same day as the 24th Culture and Entertainment Awards.
