Synopsis:

The drama centers around a young woman who was once naive and carefree, but grows up to become a wise ruler. She goes on a  legendary journey and overcoming trials and tribulations to become the empress widow of the Great Sheng nation.- Helan Mingyu (Zhao Yingzi), the smart and smart granddaughter of the Yonglin leader, has been closely associated with Xiao Chengxu (Cheng Yi), the ninth prince of Sheng, since childhood. They eventually fell in love, but Mingyu learns that Xiao Chengxu died in battle. Forced to marry the third prince Xiao Chengrui (Han Dong) to save Chengxu's younger brother Xiao Chengxuan (Zhao Wenhao), Mingyu becomes entangled in the complications of the inner palace.- Since the news of his death was untrue, Xiao Chengxu returns from the fray victorious and helps Xiao Chengrui climb the throne. However, his performance becomes his weakness because it raises the new king's suspicion.
