Synopsis:

The romance between two lovebirds during the Republic of China from the perspective of a woman. The protagonist in the play is an upright girl "green hairpin". She wants to become a policeman. When she was little she was attacked by two thugs who robbed her all her money, but suddenly a policeman came and beat up the thugs and got her money back for her. Since then, she wanted to be a policewoman when she grows up. But, when she grew up she realized at that time there was no female in the police force. She worked as a maid at a rich family's home (Xie Bin Bin's character's home).The story tells the process of her hard work for this dream, showing her youth. Faced with doubts, temptations and difficulties, the hairpin never wavered.
