SYNOPSIS

During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, the country was in decline, and foreign aggression became more and more urgent. In order to revive the country and save the people, Qiu Jin and Xu Xilin and other revolutionaries conspired to revolt in Zhejiang and Anhui. Because of the traitor's informant, they were severely suppressed by the old forces of the feudal bureaucracy, and the uprising failed. Qiu Jin died bravely. However, the sacrifice of Qiu Jin and other patriots awakened more Chinese people to join the struggle against imperialism and feudalism. Four years later, the Revolution of 1911 broke out and overthrew the Qing Dynasty. The green blood shed by Qiu Jin and others bore the fruit of the revolution.
