Sunny Wang 王陽明  is the stage name of Taiwanese actor and model Wang Yang Ming. He was born in Taipei, he moved to the United States and attended New York University’s Stern School of Business. Sunny is the son of a shipping tycoon and his family owns Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation. Although his family wanted him to work in the family business, Sunny wanted to become an actor and made his acting debut in the 2011 television drama “In Time With You.” He also has starred in “Dragon Gate” (2013) and “Never Give Up, Dodo” (2013). The Starry Night, The Starry Sea I & II (2017) and Secrets of Three Kingdoms (2018).

TRIVIA

Wang announced his relationship with Australian-Taiwanese singer songwriter Dominique Choy in early 2015. They met in 2005 and their relationship first began in 2007, but did not further due to long distance. They rekindled their romance again in late 2014, and got engaged in April 2015. On December 27, 2015, Wang married Choy in Sydney, Australia. Their daughter named Wang Qiu, English name Katiya Sky Wang was born on Christmas Day, 25 December 2019.
