Choi Jin Ri, commonly known as Sulli, was a South Korean actress, singer, dancer, and MC. She made her debut as a child actress in 2005. She is a former member of the 5-member girl group, f(x), formed by SM Entertainment in 2009, and an MC of SBS’s program Inkigayo from February 2, 2010, until November 13, 2011.

On July 25, 2014, SM Entertainment announced Sulli would be taking a temporary hiatus from the Korean entertainment industry. It was confirmed on August 19, 2014, by both Amoeba Culture and SM Entertainment, that Sulli and Dynamic Duo's Choiza are in a relationship. On August 7, 2015, it was announced that Sulli has officially withdrawn from the group to focus on an acting career and that the group will continue to promote as four members with SM managing Sulli's acting endeavors.

On March 6, 2017, an exclusive report stated that Sulli and Choiza broke up after 2 years and 7 months being together.

On October 14, 2019, at approximately 3:20 pm KST, Sulli was found dead by her manager at her house in Seongnam, south of Seoul. Police stated that they are investigating it as a possible suicide. The manager reportedly visited the house when he was not able to reach her, after speaking with Sulli via phone the previous day.
