Na Eun was born in Seoul, South Korea on February 10, 1994. She has one younger sister, Son Saeeun. She attended Seoul Arts High School along with Apink's Hong Yoo Kyung, Kim Nam Joo, and Oh Ha Young as a senior. She also revealed that she is good friends with actress Shim Eun Kyung and close friends with Park Soo Ah (former After School member, Lizzy).
