Richard Ng 吳耀漢 is a Chinese male actor in Hong Kong. He was super popular in the late 70's through 90's, a very skilled comedian as well as actor.

TRIVIA

He is known for playing numerous comedic roles. His first performance was in Michael Hui's The Private Eyes from 1976, but Ng's acting career really took off thanks to collaboration with Sammo Hung (Lucky Stars series). He eventually received his own movie series together with John Shum called Pom Pom. Ng is also the father of an actor Carl Ng, with whom he appeared in several movies.

Ng has appeared in 80 films to date.

He has twice been nominated for the Best Actor Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards, for his roles in Winners and Sinners and Beyond the Sunset. He has worked alongside some of the biggest names in Hong Kong action cinema including Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Andy Lau and Jet Li.

Ng's first role was in the 1976 Michael Hui comedy film The Private Eyes. It was the first of many films Ng would appear in with Sammo Hung throughout the next 30 years.
