-She has three siblings, second brother-David Ko is a famous tenor singer, and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts vocal music teachers.

-In 2003, she moved to Beijing , China with her husband Huang Guofu and her daughter from Taiwan.  

-In 2016, she served as a judge on the Mango TV audition entertainment show "Super Girl". This was the first time she served as a judge on the show after 11 years. Later, she was dismissed from the show for insulting players.

-On June 20, 2018, her husband Huang Guofu, who suffered from a family-hereditary renal cyst and renal failure, died in Taipei
