ABOUT

Kiara has dark hazel eyes and natural black hair that has always been long and slightly wavy at the tips. For as long as she can remember, she's worn glasses so she can read things better. In a V Live after Queen Bees' debut, she said to her fans that she was initially uncomfortable with wearing them because she was afraid people would mock her but now, she wears them with pride and she makes herself look good no matter what she's wearing.

Regarding her personality, Kiara's fans know that she's shy and introverted but they also know that she can be very passionate and humorous too. Her biggest weakness is that she easily gets influenced by peer pressure and others' opinions, which is why she usually remains quiet. On the other hand, she's also very caring towards her group mates, as the eldest and loves to support them each.

In her group, Kiara is a visual, lead vocalist and main dancer. She is known as a visual because of her adorable face shape and heart-snatching aegyo. Anyone who looks at her instantly loves her because of her natural beauty. However, when performing, her stage presence is quite surreal as she can match any genre with her facial expressions. When it comes to dancing, Kiara's movements are smooth and graceful yet very empowering as well. This is why she's the main dancer of the group.

Before Debut

Kiara said that her older sister, Siyeon, has a speaking disability so before tackling on the responsibilities of an idol, she used to tend to her sister as their parents were constantly working long shifts for extra pay. She would take a few days off school to make sure her sister would have some company at their house, as Siyeon was homeschooled. Eventually, their parents' hard work paid off when they gained enough money to hire themselves a maid who would serve and work for Siyeon so Kiara could go to school more often and catch up on her studies.

Ever since then, she's been very focused on improving her dancing and performing ability, before auditioning for Aurora Entertainment.

Her Solo Work

So far, she's only written and produced one song, Road To Paradise. It is rumoured that in mid 2020 she will release her second solo song.
