In episode 5 the palace receives news that the Crown Prince has been found dead, and the Queen is delighted. Meanwhile, the Crown Princess is somber. However, the Crown Prince is actually alive and living among the commoners in a village after losing his memory in a bad accident. Bok-eun wants money for the pot that the Crown Prince broke, and he gets into an argument with a loan shark about who holds the debt. As the Crown Prince, now known as Won Deuk, discovers talents he can use to help his family, he gradually earns acceptance as a member of the village. In this episode, Master Park's birthday celebration is disrupted when he and the magistrate find out that Minister Kim Cha-eon has found Crown Prince Lee Yool's body.
