Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 Episode 3 & 4

In episode 3, Hong-joo confronts a Japanese General who attempts to pay for sex from a gisaeng. When Hong-joo declares that she’s not a sex worker, the man points a gun at the poor worker. Hong-joo offers herself up to dissuade him but decides there are rules to this engagement. Later, when the envoy doesn’t learn his lesson and harms one of the gisaengs, Hong-joo doesn’t back off from taking her revenge. At the end of the episode, Hong Joo is serving out her punishment in Ice Hell and plans her next move.

In episode 4, Yeon and Shin-joo tease Rang while the mermaid Jang Yeo-hee takes care of him. Yeo-hee wishes to fall in love with another half-demon, but Rang blocks her clues. She then requests multiple smaller wishes for him to grant to her. Meanwhile, a strange baby with seven red marks on her forehead shows up outside Myoyeongak. Shin-ju tells the Foxes to look after her, but they decide to "casually" lose the baby, dropping her off at someone's doorstep. However, when the baby keeps showing up at their gate, it seems there's more to her than meets the eye. At the end of the episode, Hong Joo finds Yeon's house in Manchuria and discovers that the Lee Yeon in her inn is from the future.
