When that doesn't work, he breaks free of the ropes and easily fights off his human opponents. He fights his way out and soon notices someone at a far-off distance. Meanwhile, in present-day Seoul, a woman named Ji Ah is involved in a car accident that leaves her parents missing. Lee Yeon, who is living undercover in Seoul, watches from the roadside and holds a red umbrella. He approaches Ji Ah and tells her that he is a 1000-year-old nine-tailed fox who is waiting for his first and only love. Lee Yeon admits that the wait is tiresome. The episode ends with Lee Rang finding the truth behind Bang-sak, who ate away the lifespan of a young girl in front of him. This shocks Lee Rang, who then tries to save his body only to discover that it has disappeared.
