Renascence 凤唳九天 Episode 8

The hour has come, they were about to excute Ye Yunqing. Yao Mowan ran and said she has proof of Junqing being innocent. Yao Mowan explained that the handwriting on the rebellious document looks similar, but the handwriting is sharp and weak, while Ye Junqing's handwriting is rounded. The writing styles of the two are completely different. The rebellious document is not written by Ye Junqing. It is Dashu forged and framed. The Dashu envoy provoked Yao Mowan, thinking that she might be suspected of breaking the package by breaking into the art of war and revealing the documents. Yao Mowan asked the envoy to read the document, but the envoy could not read. Dashu Jianchen provided his own testimony, proving that the conspiracy document was written by the envoy and asked an expert to imitate Ye Junqing's handwriting. There were all personal and material evidences, and the envoys could not argue. Jian Chen betrayed Dashu because Ye Junqing had spared his life, but since ancient times, loyalty and righteousness cannot have both, Jian Chen drew his sword and killed himself. 

Yao Mowan ran all night to save Ye Junqing and collapsed to the ground with exhaustion afterwards. When she woke up, she saw Ye Junqing sitting beside her on the bed. Ye Junqing told Yao Mowan that he doesn't think of her as her sister's replacement. Yao Mowan hugged Ye Junqing. Princess Han Yue is unwell, they asked for Yao Mowan to go treat Han Yue. On the way to the palace, a flower pot fell from up above, but her servantTingyue pushed her away so she wont get hurt. As Tingyue fall, Ben Lei saved the female servant from falling. Ben Lei accidentally admitted that it was Ye Yunqing who sent him to protect Mowan.   

Through this conspiracy, Ye Junqing saw through Dou Shiming's ambitions. Dou Shiming wanted to truly gain military power, only to make Ye Junqing not exist in the world. Ye Junqing asked Han Jinyi to continue investigating Dou Shiming and reveal his true colors.

Princess Hanyue probed Yao Mowan and asked her if she knew the secret treasure of the Southern Territory. If they drink at the same time, they can feel each other's breath, but Yao Mowan doesn't understand what Princess Hanyue said. When Yao Mowan gave Princess Hanyue's pulse, Hanyue found the traces on Yao Mowan's arm, and watched her behavior, making her look at Yao Mowan as Yao Moxin in a daze.

Yao Mowan went to the Taiyuan Hospital to help Hanyue get the medicine. She didn't intend to hear that the people at the Taiyuan Hospital said that Yao Mo's tragic heart death was related to the poison of Maqianzi and Guluqing. She found clues and thought that not only Li Guiren was poisoned, but other people might be poisoned. She hurried to meet Ye Hongyi, hoping to investigate Yao Mo's heart poisoning again, but Ye Hongyi told her not to cling to the case.

Yao Mowan sneaked into Dezhao Palace to see if there was anything unusual in the place where Yao Moxin lived, but was knocked out from behind by Qian Mian and sent to Ye Hongyi. Ye Hongyi was very angry and gave Yao Mowa seven days to investigate. She bumped into Yao Suluan on her way out. 

Mowan walks in on Ye Junqing asking the made servant about Mowan's where abouts. Mowan asked him what if her sister died by someone else's hand, what would he do. He questioned her on why she asked that if there was new clues, she said no only what if's - that made Ye Junqing mad and he left. 

Dou Shiming and Madam Dou planned to start with going after Yao Mowan first, then get rid of Ye Junqing afterwards. As they were talking, someone was on the roof listening in. 

The next day, Yao Mowan went to see empress Han Yue. They spoke of Mowan and Ye Yunqing relationship. Han Yue encourage Mowan to give Ye Yunqing a gift to express her love for him. 

The person one the roof that night was sent by Ye Junqing. He told Ye Junqing the Dou familly's evil scheme. Then, Ban Lei told him about the flower pot incident as well. In addition to Dou Shiming, there were others staring at her. Ye Junqing was very worried. Mowan had a handmade gift that she was going to give to Ye Junqing, ye Junqing snatched from her. He looked at it and said hand work was lacking, she got mad and snatched the gift back and said it is not for you why would you care how it looks. He asked if it is not for me who is it for? She told him she was bored, so she had Han Yue teach her how to sew. Then, he said he thought she called him out here to give him a gift. Mowan then placed the gift into his hand and said if you like it then I will give it to you.

When he was about to talk to Yao Mowan, he found a man in black looking at them behind the rocks. Ye Junqing only deliberately reprimanded Yao Mowan, dropped the sachet, and Yao Mowan left sadly. Sure enough, a man in black followed Mowan.  Ben Lei fought the dude, but he got away. 

Yao Mowan heart was injured again by Ye Junqing. Ye Junqing went out looking for the sachet gift and found it on the floor. Meanwhile, Mowan was home getting drunk. Mowan was in the library when someone poison her with gas and she fainted. Then they set the library on fire. Ye Junqing went in to save her, she screamed at him saying she shouldnt have gone in and that they will both die. She said since this is there last moments she wants to hear the truth. He knocked her out and carried her out from the burning building.
