Renascence 凤唳九天 Episode 6

In the Queen's Palace, Ye Hongyi withdrew everyone, holding Yao Moxin and noticed there was a little powder left on both sides of her nose. The dark guard presented the murder suspicion previously captured, and it was a maidservant of a noble man. The maid revealed that he was poisoned by Li Guiren because she hated the queen. After interrogation and confrontation, Li Guiren confessed.

In a fit of anger, Ye Hongyi ransacked the Li family. He ordered the whole Li's family to be excuted. Yao Moxin suffered from a poisonous attack. Ye Hongyi sent a guard to inform the Yao family and Ye Yunqing that the empress is dead and asked them to return to the palace for her funeral. Li Li was deeply saddened to learn that his eldest daughter had passed away, and Ye Junqing couldn't believe the facts before him. Ye Hongyi blamed himself for not taking good care of Yao Moxin, but he had already killed all that were supposely involved. Yao Mowan had a series of questions, non-stop, and recklessly asking questions, wondering how an adulterer poisoned Yao Moxin.

Upon learning of the queen's death, envoys from various countries came forward to worship. Ye Hongyi put Ye Junqing in charge of receiving envoys from various countries, and Yao Mowan asked to be an assistance to Ye Junqing. Regarding the reception of various countries, Ye Junqing had no thoughts and absent-mindedness. Yao Mowan couldn't see it, reminding Ye Junqing that the living is like this, no matter how sad, Yao Moxin can't come back. Ye Junqing drank all night and couldn't let go of Yao Moxin.

Yao Mowan looked into his eyes, feeling sad, taking care of the drunk Ye Junqing, and sleeping in his arms unconsciously. When Ye Junqing woke up, he was shocked when he saw Yao Mowan lying in his arms, thinking that he had an unclear relationship with Yao Mowan the night before, and Yao Moxin death - was too much for him - picked up his sword to do self-harm. Yao Mowan stopped him.

Yao Mowan couldn't bear to see Ye Junqing degenerate, so she joked hoping to ease his mood. Unexpectedly, Ye Junqing didn't appreciate it, and sighed that everything he did for Yao Moxin was meaningless, and he was distraught. Yao Mowan knew that in Ye Junqing's heart, no one could replace Yao Moxin, and also knew Yao Moxin's position in Ye Junqing's heart. He expressed that no matter what, he would always be by Ye Junqing's side, even if she was her sister's substitute, she only hoped that Ye Junqing could regroup and live well.

Yao Mowan accompanies Mo Li to be a filial daughter. When she saw Ye Junqing regain himself and walked out of pain. The two received envoys from various countries at the gate of the city. The Princess Changfeng was first to arrived, and she said that Moxin was like a sister to her. She bought along her niece princess Duan Tingting.  Duan Tingting came up and called Ye Junqing -brother Junqing which was very intimate. Ye Junqing didnt remember her at first, but remembered with a flashback. The flashback took her back to the time when the soldiers captured Duan Tingting and wanted to threaten the Southern Territory with her as hostage. He thought it was inappropriate and could not use her as a bargaining chip, so Duan Tingting was released. Duan Tingting liked Ye Junqing and wanted to marry him.  

Yao Mowan was told to take the ladies back to the palace to rest. While walking along Tingting asked her aunt to help asked the king to let her marry Ye Junqing, but Yao Mawan stepped in and said you can't. He already loves someone in his heart. Duan Tingting said she didn't care, Yao Mowan fell to the ground, Princess An Yue stepped forward to help Yao Mowan. She was able to smell Moxin - then it takes us to a flashback of when Moxin and Han Yue vowed to be blood sisters and drank a special wine with their blood in it. Han Yue told Moxin that after drinking this special wine, she would be able to smell and know where Moxin was and one day it might help save her life. Then, Mowan excussed herself from the two ladies to go find Ye Yunqing.

Mowan was trying to test Ye Yunqing on how he feels about Tingting. She told her that Tingting reminds him of Mowan. He told her he was not interested in that kind of a girl.

When Duan Tingting saw Ye Hongyi, she talked about marriage, but Ye Junqing flatly refused. Yao Mowan took the initiative to informed Duan Tingting that Ye Yunqing and her were a couple. The Jealous Han Jinyi overheard this and asked if it was true. Ye Yunqing said don't worry she was only helping him and that they were not a couple. 
Suddenly the soldiers surrounded the three of them, claiming that Ye Junqing wants to overthrow the King and take the throne.
