Renascence 凤唳九天 Episode 4

Yao Mowan was walking and enjoying herself at the lantern festival, she played a poetry guessing game where she didnt know how to answer it. She looked to Ye Junqing for help and he helped her out with the first word, as she went to look at the lantern Ye Junqing walked away into the crowd of people. Yao Mowan broke through the crowd and saw two children crying and asking onlookers to give them some money to buried their old father. Yao Mowan saw through the children's little tricks. She out smarted the little girl saying that the dead person is not her dad. The trickster was in a gang, the gangsters saw that their trick got revealed, he gathered his accomplices to chase her. Ye Junqing arrived in time to help Yao Mowan, but was out numbered. Yao Mowan pulled Ye Junqing and fleeing quickly. While running she told the little kids to stay hidden and that they will be back later to save them. Yao Mowan and Ye Junqing was forced to the top floor of the buiding. Ye Junqing hugged Yao Mowan and flew down the stairs, in the fall he remembered back when this similar experience happened to him and Yao Moxin, Ye Junqing saw Yao Moxin in Yao Mowan, and out of the corner of his mouth he smiled unconsciously. The crowd of people eating melons clapped their hands and applauded, which woke Ye Junqing from his trance, and he let Yao Mowan down.

When Yao Mowan returned to the house, she wanted Ye Junqing to accompany her out to play some more. Ye Junqing went straight back to the room and locked Yao Mowan outside. The next day, Yao Mowan went early to find Ye Junqing. Ben Lei told her that Ye Junqing had gone out very early. Yao Mowan hurried out to chase him and followed Ye Junqing quietly. In fact, Ye Junqing had already discovered her. While hiding behind street food stand, the cooked said wow little lady where did you learn such amazing Kung Fu skill. Yao Mowan didnt realized where she placed her hand, but it was holding a hot iron pot. She had her hands burnt.  

There were bandits hiding in the grass, preparing to rob the golden vehicles passing by. Han Jinyi, the lord of the Ten Thousand Emperors City, is agile, and extremely skilled with his sword. He jumped off his horse, drew his sword and with just a swift swing of his sword toward each bandit. All the bandit's waistbands were cut off and their clothes fell off and hit the ground. Han Jinyi ordered the bandits to take him to see their boss.

Yao Mowan lost Ye Junqing in the crowd, so she stop to do a very unflattering picture of a character who she says should be Ye Junqing. Ye Junqing paid a little boy to lie to Yao Mowan and had her go the opposite direct from him.

Ye Hongyi has been sending people to monitor Ye Junqing, but the monitoring situation did not see Ye Junqing meeting friends everywhere, but he appeared to be at ease. Ye Hongyi feels that this is not Ye Junqing’s style. Ye Junqing had his miltary powers taken away, but there was no movement- that is very suspicious.  Ye Hongyi ordered people to spy on Ben Lei.

According to a thousand faces investigator, before Yao Mo's was poisoned, he had met with the three princesses. The poisoned medicine all disappeared without a trace from the Taiyuan Hospital. The King said for him to continue the investigation if need be, he can go into the Concubine's bedroom.

Han Jinyi threatened the master with the life of the second leader of the bandit. He wanted to go to the capital to steal the Nine Dragons Cup. He needed to use the hands of the bandit to help him create a distraction and clear his way through the palace gate. Han showed the bandit his  a black colored seal, they all got down on their knees and beg for their lives. In the end, the bandits agree to help Han.

Yao Suluan (stepsister of Yao Maxin and Yao Mowan) visited Ye Hongyi the king in order to ask for approval to return home and visit her ill mother. Ye Hongyi took advantage of this to ask Yao Suluan if she has seen Yao Moxin before she was poisoned. She said she had, and that Yao Mo was pregnant with Zhonger and could not sleep well, so she gave Yao Moxin a calming incense. After Yao Suluan left, Ye Hongyi asked Qianmian to check Yao Suluan's calming incense, but suddenly they heard an explosion. The King order people to protect the empress.

Han Jinyi broke into the Palace Treasure Pavilion with a mask, and found the Nine Dragon Cup in the room. Although the soldiers arrived quickly, Han Jinyi was agile and ran out of the soldier's sight in a blink of an eye, and left a message to Ye Hongyi, Kowloon. The cup belongs to him temporarily. Ye Junqing learned that after Dou Shiming was transferred, he became a great official in Xinjiang and he entered Beijing without official channels. It was a few months before Yao Moxin fell ill and was very suspicious. The soldiers chased Han Jinyi and had him cornered, Ye Junqing saw this and wanted to help, so he pretended to be drunk and let Han use him as a hostage. The guards didn't want Han Jinyi to injure Ye Junqing so they let him go.

Yao Mowan finally found Ye Junqing and she held onto his foot and wouldnt let him leave her behind. He asked her is it really wise to have a one sided love, she responded back saying her and him there is no differeance. He also has a one sided love for Yao Moxin. She told him it doesn't matter Ye Junqing will be her only love. Then, she said sorry to bother you and she parted with him going the opposite direction. Suddenly, Ye Junqing popped up in her face and signal her to go with him.

Han Jinyi asked his subordinates to bring the Nine Dragon Cup back to reckless wishes. It was of great importance. Li Li sighed the fate of his daughter and hoped that Yao Xiang would look for Yao Mowan again. Yao Xiang knew that he couldn't help Li Li, but he was afraid of Dou Xianglan. Dou Xianglan used the excuse that Ye Hongyi wanted to go home to save her relatives, so she didn't want to go to Yao Mowan. Mo Li had nothing to rely on and could only swallow his breath.

Ye Junqing took Yao Mowan back to Yao Mansion, and upon arrival the maid recognized she was the third daughter of the Yao family. The two servant was shocked and the male servant ran off to tell her mom and dad that their third daughter was home. But Yao Mowan lost her memory and could not recognize her parents. Dou Xianglan (her stepmother) faked her intentions and said that she was broken and worried because of Yao Mowan's disappearance. Yao Xiang (her birth mother) was very worried about Yao Mowan's memory loss. Dou Xianglan told Yao Mowan and her mother to go and rest up. Dou Xianglan asked if Ye Junqing knows why and what happen to Yao Mowan. He offered to take a step aside to speak to Dou Xianglan.

Yao Mowan's birth mom told her that she has two older sister, they are both married to the King. She was shocked to hear that Yao Moxin was actually her older sister who was born with the same mom and dad. The female servant bought her her favorite drink, but Yao Mowan spit it out and said it is nasty. Yao Moxin then asked her mother if she has ever met the King and the royal family, her mother said no because Yao Mowan has never left the home before. Upon talking, Yao Mowan saw her mom's hand was injured, she demanded to get her justice. Her birth mom told her to stop, because then she will get them both banish from the Yao masion and she will disown her.
