In the imperial prison ten years ago, the young Li Wu tried to unlock the door but failed. He wanted to borrow the hairpin on Shu Tang's head. Shu Tang said that the hairpin was given by his father and he was unwilling to give it to Li Wu.

Wang Kegong's mansion, Shu Tang and Li Wu came to the granary. Shu Tang took the beautiful jade stolen by Li Wu and asked him to guard the gate for him, and returned the beautiful jade to him after a short rest. Following the bloodstains, Lu Zheng found the night clothes that Shu Tang had replaced, and it was strange to think of the maid's clothes. In the granary, seeing that Shu Tang seemed to be asleep, Li Wu quietly stepped forward to get the beautiful jade back, but Shu Tang didn't fall asleep, and wanted to kill Li Wu. Seeing this, Li Wu quickly told Shu Tang that he was a thief, and was willing to hand over all the stolen treasures to Shu Tang, and help her escape from Wang Kegong's mansion. During the scuffle between the two, Shu Tang inadvertently saw the scar on Li Wu's back neck and knew that he had also been sent to prison. While Li Wu looked at the hairpin on Shu Tang's head, he thought of the girl in the prison who was in the same cell as him.

On the other side, Lu Zheng checked the shoulders of the maidservants in the courtyard, and there was nothing unusual. Lu Zheng returned to Zhenfusi Yamen and summoned other guards to go to Wang Kegong's mansion together. They refused to go without orders. Lu Zheng thought that this matter was urgent, and when the two parties were in a stalemate, Lu Yulin came over and said that Wang Kegong's family's private affairs were not under the supervision of the governor.

Lu Zheng told Lu Yulin that he had found out that Li Dongfang had secretly colluded with Ye Bushou and was not worthy of being a hundred households. Lu Yulin said that it was not Lu Zheng's turn to be in Baihu's position, and Lu Zheng just wanted to use Baihu's identity to get the key to the file library to inquire about Hong Wunian's case files. Lu Zheng is determined that as long as he lives, he must find out. Lu Yulin told him that Song Heming's case could not be overturned, and told him not to care about Wang Kegong's house. Lu Zheng couldn't take it anymore, turned and left.

Early in the morning, Li Wu left Wang Kegong's mansion through the gap in the west courtyard wall. Back home, when Li Wu saw Li Dongfang woke up, he knocked him out and put him in the ship box to Yangzhou. Li Wu packed his treasure and wanted to leave, but couldn't help but return to Wang Kegong's mansion with the wound medicine. Lu Zheng watched Li Wu enter Wang Kegong's mansion through the gap, and followed him secretly. Li Wu came to the granary to look for Shu Tang, and Lu Zheng followed closely behind, asking him to hand over the assassin. Li Wu loudly denied that he wanted to get out of the granary, but Lu Zheng hurriedly stopped him, and the two started fighting in the granary. Just when Li Wu was subdued by Lu Zheng, Xie Kengran actually locked the door of the granary.

At night, Li Wu walked to the door of the granary and unlocked it. Seeing this, Lu Zheng tied Li Wu to the granary, intending to capture the assassin and take him back to the Zhenfusi. After leaving the granary, Lu Zheng went to Wang Kegong's study at the reminder of his subordinates, and rescued Wang Kegong who almost died of suffocation. Lu Zheng asked Xie Kengran to return to the Zhenfu Department to find some people, while he stayed at the mansion to protect Wang Kegong.

In the granary, Shu Tang thought that Li Wu had brought Jin Yiwei to arrest him, so he opened the granary to release the grain. Li Wu was submerged in food, so he could only hold the two bottles of wound medicine he brought with his hands. Seeing this, Shu Tang quickly cut the rope binding Li Wu with a knife, and rescued Li Wu from the granary. Through Shu Tang's words, Li Wu learned that Shu Tang grew up under Mr. Li Qian who never accepted him at night. He accidentally saw the scar on the back of Shu Tang's neck and thought about it.

On the other side, Wang Kegong couldn't help but tell Lu Zheng about his old friend again, and it was only then that Lu Zheng realized that Ye Bushou came to find Yu Mingsuo. While the two were talking, Li Wu entered the room from a side window and overheard the conversation between the two, and learned that what he got was Yu Mingsuo.

In the granary, Shu Tang took the fish lock in Li Wu's hand, and handed the emerald jade to Li Wu. Suddenly Li Wu suggested that he help Shu Tang find the whereabouts of the ciphertext, and Ye Bushou would help him steal something from Jin Yiwei's file library. Shu Tang agreed to Li Wu's request. Lu Zheng used the key given by Wang Kegong to open the bottom of the tablet but found nothing. He turned the tablet over and found that Song Heming's name was written on it.
