In the secret room of the bell tower, Zhang Junqing treated Lu Zheng's wound. Lu Zheng smelled the fragrance of flowers in the room, recalled the fragrance he smelled when fighting Ye Bu Shou, and realized that Zhang Junqing was the ghost face Ye Bu Shou. Zhang Junqing told Lu Zheng that Song Heming Wang Kegong and Lu Yulin were the ones sent by King Yan to frame Li Yan and murder the East Palace. The people around Lu Zheng were all against the party, and it was a scam from beginning to end. Hearing this, Lu Zheng jumped out of the window and fell to the ground from upstairs.

The next day, Jin Yiwei helped Li Wu unshackle and put on the flying fish suit, and then handed Song Heming's book of impermanence to him. When Lu Zheng came, Li Wu saw that he was injured and immediately stopped the bleeding for him. Lu Zheng said that he was ambushed by Ye Bushou and almost died, and Zhang Junqing was Ye Bushou wearing a ghost mask. Li Wu told Lu Zheng that he had met Lu Yulin in the imperial prison, and that Lu Yulin was struggling in the crisis and supporting Lu Zheng, and he was a hero.

When it rained heavily, Lu Yulin forced himself into the inner hall, saying that he had stolen Si Xiangnan's official seal, and that he was the murderer who killed Song Heming. Li Wu yelled that Lu Yulin was in Zhenfusi Yamen to confuse the crowd, stabbed him with a dagger, and whispered in his ear to make Lu Zheng hate himself. Lu Zheng rushed forward to support Lu Yulin, watching him die in his arms. Li Wu told Lu Zheng that he was the boy who killed Song Heming on a rainy night in the 25th year of Hongwu. Lu Zheng couldn't bear it anymore, he drew his sword and cut off one of Li Wu's hands.

Li Wu wanted to escape, but was besieged by Jin Yiwei in the inner hall. Lu Zheng pointed his sword at Li Wu, and Li Wu hurriedly took out a note that he put in his arms and said "Together with the horse, no doubt and no responsibility". Just as Lu Zheng was struggling, Yuan Zhongdao appeared. Li Wu immediately handed Song Heming's book of impermanence to Yuan Zhongdao. Under Yuan Zhongdao's persuasion, Lu Zheng had to throw away the sword angrily. In the middle of the night, Li Wu came to the gate of the imperial prison to worship Lu Yulin, saying that he now truly has a clear conscience.

Four months later, Boss Shen handed the prosthetic limb to Li Wu, saying that the matter he asked him to do had been done. When Li Wu returned to the Zhen Fusi, Jin Yiwei reported the number of nights he had captured, and Li Wu told them not to arrest poor people, but to arrest gambling instead.

At night, Li Wu sneaked into the Wenhua Palace wearing night clothes. It turned out that Lu Zheng had been kept in the palace by Yuan Zhongdao. Yuan Zhongdao said that he no longer trusted Zhang Junqing and others, and handed Song Heming's book of impermanence to Lu Zheng. Yuan Zhongdao said that he had been looking for a skilled craftsman to study Yu Mingsuo for a long time but failed to crack it. Lu Zheng said that he would give him an answer as soon as possible.

Li Wu asked Boss Shen for a big boat, pretending to be his birthday and inviting many officials to the cruise ship for a banquet. The officials came to the banquet with a lot of gold and silver treasures. Li Wu asked Boss Shen to watch them, while he came to the palace in night clothes.

Shu Tang was drinking in the Eight Treasures House of the imperial palace when Li Wu accidentally broke in. Li Wu pretended to be sent by Li Dongfang to steal the fish lock, and asked Shu Tang when the Jinyi guard guarding the Wenhua Palace would change his guard, and Shu Tang asked him to go back and wait for the news. Then Shu Tang led the Jinyiwei away from the Wenhua Palace, and reminded Li Wu to remember to check for sky lanterns every night at 3:00 pm, and Li Wu told her to be careful and leave through the secret road.

In the Zhenfu Division, several officials were actually kneeling in front of the door. The subordinates told Li Wu that Lu Zheng had arrested Mr. Guo and his accomplices during the overnight interrogation. Li Wu turned around and saw many greeting cards piled up at the door, and was very upset.

The accountant of the palace, the emperor came here to check the account book. Yuan Zhongdao talked about the expenditure records in the account books, shouting that the war had emptied the national treasury. At this moment, Shu Tang stretched out from the inner room, and Yuan Zhongdao asked Zhao Gou why the maid secretly drank imperial wine while not working. Seeing that Shu Tang said that he had memorized the account book clearly, the emperor asked casually, and Shu Tang could actually recite it accurately. Seeing this, the emperor asked Zhao Gou to hand over the accountant of the harem to Shu Tang.

At night, Lu Zheng's duty time has come. After Lu Zheng left, Yuan Zhongdao asked Zhao Gou to call Shu Tang to Wenhua Hall. At three o'clock in Haishi, a sky lantern slowly rose. Li Wu saw the sky lantern coming to the Wenhua Palace, and then saw Shu Tang leaving with Zhao Gou.
