In the Wenhua Palace, Yuan Zhongdao said that he had received a secret report that the treasure on board had been transported to Peiping to be the military expenditure of the King of Yan. Li Wu knelt down and asked the Holy Lord to grant him death. Lu Zheng said that he and Li Wu were indeed guilty of negligence, but he was willing to guarantee Li Wu. Yuan Zhongdao told the two that it was said to the outside world that the Holy Majesty had intercepted King Yan's military expenditures. Afterwards, looking at the reward from the Holy One, Li Wu said that he accidentally injured Zhongliang when he cleared up the rebellious party, resulting in an unjust prison, so the merits and demerits are equal. The emperor agreed to let Lu Zheng personally court Li Wu. In front of Dengwen Drum, Li Wu asked Lu Zheng to hit him with a stick, saying that this was to save himself a way out. Looking at the officials standing in front of him, Lu Zheng beat Li Wu with a cane, and Li Wu was beaten unconscious.

At night, in the mansion, Lu Zheng told Li Wu that he had already deciphered the meaning of the miscellaneous characters. It turned out that the batch of property had been transported northward by a tank boat, and the firearms in the lock of the fish must not fall into the hands of Zhang Junqing.

In the palace, Yuan Zhongdao stated that Wang Chongxi testified against Lu Yulin Tongyan and secretly kept Song Heming's book of impermanence. The emperor felt that these were all empty words and didn't care. Yuan Zhongdao suggested that Jin Yiwei may have deliberately given up his son because the rebellious party beat Jin Yiwei this time. Seeing this, the emperor asked Yuan Zhongdao what to do with Lu Yulin and his son, and Yuan Zhongdao said that he should kill his father and use his son.

Lu Zheng came to Lu Yulin's room and asked Song Heming about the whereabouts of the Wuchang Book. Lu Yulin said that he destroyed the book of impermanence in Hong Wunian, and the reason he did this was to let Lu Zheng never learn from Song Heming, and ended up in the same end. Seeing that Lu Zheng was very angry, Lu Yulin couldn't help recalling the past when Lu Zheng was a child. In fact, it was Lu Zheng who saved him when he was most desperate, and he had already written a memorial to express his grievances for Song Heming. Hearing Lu Yulin's words, Lu Zheng shed tears, knelt down and kowtowed to Lu Yulin.

In the draft hall of the imperial palace, Shu Tang was mixed among a group of draftees. Seeing Zhao Gou's hint, the selected maid did not let Shu Tang leave. Looking at Shu Tang's attitude, Zhao Gou said that she would never be able to get to the emperor's side like this, and reminded Shu Tang to be careful. Afterwards, under the arrangement of Zhao Gou, Shu Tang showed the tea art to the selected court ladies.

In the middle of the night, Lu Zheng helped Li Wu leave the mansion, and the two got on the cruise ship, only to find that there was always a Jin Yiwei following them.

The next day at the Zhenfu Division, Zhao Gou took out the decree and asked Si Xiangnan to take the post of commander temporarily, and then asked Li Wu to arrest Lu Yulin's family, because Lu Zheng was not among the arrestees after he was a loyal minister. Lu Zheng said that Lu Yulin was not against the party, and he wanted to meet the Holy Majesty. Zhao Gou left without answering. After everyone left, Li Wu said that Lu Yulin Shangshu rehabilitated Song Heming in order to draw a clear line with Lu Zheng in order to protect him.

Li Wu and Lu Zheng brought Jin Yiwei to arrest Lu Yulin, and Lu Zheng personally helped Lu Yulin carry the shackle. Afterwards, Si Xiangnan stopped Li Wu, saying that it was not appropriate for Lu Yulin Tongyan to keep him in the Yamen of Zhenfusi, so he asked Jin Yiwei to escort him to the prison of the Ministry of Criminal Justice. Li Wu said that the Holy Majesty did not intend to let Lu Yulin wear the shackles to show the public, and he could not follow his orders. When the two sides were in a stalemate, Lu Yulin stepped forward to ask the Jin Yiwei to put away their knives, and followed Si Xiangnan to leave.

On the cruise ship at night, while the following Jin Yiwei was not paying attention, Li Wu switched identities with another person to leave Jin Yiwei's surveillance. Afterwards, Boss Shen was brought in front of Li Wu. Li Wu asked Boss Shen whether the new world he said was true or not, and Boss Shen said it was indeed false. Li Wu sighed deeply, expressing that the new world was fake, and that Boss Shen was a spy sent by King Yan, and he wanted to push him outside the Meridian Gate to be skinned for public display. Li Wu told Boss Shen about the past of the Shen family, hinting whether King Yan would really help him. Boss Shen didn't know which side Li Wu belonged to. Li Wu said that he wanted to be his own master, and asked Boss Shen if he would like to be his own.

On the other side, Zhang Junqing told Lu Zheng that the Holy Majesty had rehabilitated Song Heming, and he should change his original name back. Lu Zheng said that Jin Yiwei of the Water Transport Wharf seized the military expenses of the King of Yan. If it weren't for Zhang Junqing, the world would have been at peace long ago. Zhang Junqing said that she only had plans in front of her and had no way out. She said that she could rescue Lu Yulin and restore his innocence, but when she killed Li Dongfang, Lu Zheng had to stand by and watch.

The next day, Li Wu told Lu Zheng that Lu Yulin had never been to the prison of the Ministry of Criminal Justice, and speculated that Si Xiangnan had Lu Yulin imprisoned in the imperial prison of the Zhenfusi Yamen.
