On March 27, 2023, Liu Yuning 刘宇宁 went on social media to apologize to his ex-wife and slam mainland paparazzi for stalking his ex-wife. Liu Yuning is a famous Chinese male actor and singer in mainland China.
The mainland paparazzi stalked down his ex-wife and found out she also has a little daughter. Liu Yuning stated that he was married in 2013, but they divorced a while back -and that they had zero contact after that. Their marriage happened and dissolved before he debuted in the entertainment business. He stated that he and his ex-wife never had any children together. He placed his hands together and said on screen (to his ex-wife) that he was very very very sorry for the trouble that came to her because of him. He said he never tried to hide the fact that he was once married, but he was trying to avoid what the paparazzi is doing now to her and her daughter. He feels that since the ex never gained any benefits from him being an artist he didn't feel she should take on the pressures of paparazzis or public opinions.
Liu Yuning is seen slamming the media for exposing his ex-wife and her young daughter to the public. He stated to the screen that they can hate him, look down on him, but he was highly upset saying they should have never gone after ordinary citizens such as his ex-wife, and a young minor. He believes that what they did was inhuman.
He wants justice for others who had been hurt by this, therefore he will be taking legal actions.
