Korean boy band AB6IX is reorganizing itself as a quartet, after one of its members, Lim Young Min, was recently involved in a drunk driving incident. During the early hours on May 31, the twenty-four old kpop star met with some friends for drinks, using his own vehicle to drive back to the dorm when he was caught driving under the influence by the police. Lim has since had his driver's license revoked.
After a thorough discussion with his agency and other band members, Lim Young Min decided to voluntarily leave the group to desist from further tarnishing the band's reputation. Current promotions for the group, including an upcoming album slated to be released on June 29, 2020, are reported to continue.
