Kenneth Tsang 曾江 one of TVB's veteran actor and a legend in his own rights as a Chinese artist passed away on April 27, 2022.. He was found dead in a COVID quarantine hotel room in Tsim Sha Tsui , Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong, He went back to his home town Hong Kong on April 25, 2022 from his trip to Singapore.
Kenneth was an actor and director with around sixty years of experience in the field. He started in many Chinese drama series and movies, and starred in Hollywood films as well.
Tsang attended Wah Yan College, Kowloon secondary school for boys in Yau Ma Tei, then he went to California in the United states for college. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in architecture before returning to Hong Kong in the early 1960s.
He said that he started in acting because a director offer him a part in a show while he was picking up his sister from work. His younger sister was an actress and he picked her up from work often. He use to stop and talked to the crew members as well as directors in the film industries, while he was there with his little sister. He first debut in the movie The Feud (1955), when he was just 16 years old. That lead him into a career of acting instead of his college degree in the architecture industry.
