January 16, 2021 the contract between Got7 and JYP entertainment company is coming up for renewal, but rumors have it that these amazing guys are not renewing. JYP aka Jin Young Park started unfollowing Bambam, Mark Tuan, and Jinyoung on Instagram; Younglee and BamBam also deleted previous posts they had about JYP on all their social media accounts. Then it hit--on January 10 a Korean news agency stated that all seven members of GOT7 will not renew their contract. The reason is due to being the majority of them having no desire to stay with JYP Entertainment (only one or two wanted to continue and renew) therefore, they all resigned as a whole. To all the fans who love GOT7, keep in mind that all of the members are very close, and have brighter futures ahead of them; hopefully they will work together as a group and produce more great music. It is rumored that most of the members had better offers elsewhere, and Jackson wanted to focus on his own label, TEAM WANG.
