Aaron Kwok is hosting an online concert to be streamed on May 9th of 2020 for free. Funds raised from the concert will be donated along with his personal check of $100 thousand dollars to benefit dancers and other professional works in the entertainment industry. Aaron was inspired by Sam Hui,(who has since retired from the entertainment industry) who held a free concert on April 2nd, 2020. Sam Hui is well-known as the first major superstar of Cantopop, and as the God of song. Sam's concert attracted 2.55 million viewers with guests like Gigi Leung, Kenny Bee, Carrie Lam. Sam has not finished tallying up the donations from the fans, but he said all will be donated along with his personal check of $250,000 to workers affected by COVID-19.
