The fifty-year old Taiwanese pop diva, A-Mei conducted a 10-night concert in Kaohsiung on April 16 as part of her ASMeiR 2023 World Tour. In was her final concert out of the ten, A-Mei lost her voice while singing her second song ‘When I Think Of You Secretly’. She broke down in tears, apologizing to her fans for not being able to give them a perfect performance. Later it was discovered that A-Mei was battling a throat inflammation which made her lose her voice several times during the concert, causing her to break down in tears and apologize to her fans for not being able to give them a perfect performance. She promised them a do-over.
