Aunt Qing arrived at Cheng Shaoshang's courtyard and summoned her to Jiudaitang for questioning. Sitting in the middle, Xiao Yuanyi asked loudly about Cheng Shaoshang's bookcase. Cheng Shaogong explained that he gave it to Cheng Shaoshang, and the unicorn head was engraved on the bookcase. After Aunt Fu heard about it, she said that Lian Fang deliberately brought the bookcase to Cheng Heng's yard to show off that Cheng Shaoshang had two older brothers. Xiao Yuanyi asked Aunt Qing to bring Changpu in and then, with an air of intimidation, asked Aunt Fu and Changpu to clarify the matter. It turned out that at that time, Changpu used the excuse of imitating the appearance of the bookcase, directly moved the bookcase to Cheng Zhen's house, and then threw away her old bookcase. Zhu Yi beside Chang Pu had already dissuaded her, but she was slapped by Chang Pu. Seeing this, Lianfang wanted to carry the bookcase back, but Changpu insisted not to let him carry it back.

After Xiao Yunyi heard the cause and effect of the incident, she claimed that it was the fault of the maidservants on both sides. When Cheng Heng saw this, he came out to admit his mistake in time, claiming that his maid was not strict in discipline, which was why others misunderstood Cheng Shaoshang. When Xiao Yunyi saw it, she hurriedly got up and walked over, helped Cheng Heng up, and then announced loudly that the maidservants on both sides should go back to accept their punishment, and then softly told Cheng Heng not to take it to heart. Cheng Shaoshang smiled helplessly when he saw it, and Xiao Yunyi asked him why he was laughing. Cheng Shaoshang felt that there was no right or wrong in this matter, and it depended on how Xiao Yunyi punished, and then let Lian Fang go back to clean up. Afterwards, Cheng Shaoshang called Changpu to him and asked him why he wanted to beat up his maidservant without warning. Xiao Yunyi stopped Cheng Shaoshang from continuing, thinking that it was not appropriate to discuss this matter in public.

After hearing this, Aunt Fu said disappointedly that it was because Cheng Heng didn't have the support of Cheng Shaoshang's two brothers that she suffered alone in the house, and it was also because the maidservants saw that Cheng Shaoshang had good things, so Aunt Fu did it. Thinking of asking Cheng Heng for a desk too. After hearing this, Xiao Yuanyi felt a little pity in his heart, and once again announced that the matter was over. Cheng Shaoshang thought that the current situation was unexpected, so she had to rely on herself no matter what. So Cheng Shaoshang said that if Aunt Fu's matter passed like this, then she would be charged with bullying her cousin. After hearing this, Xiao Yunyi said loudly that Cheng Shaoshang dared to disobey her, and regretted it in her heart after she finished speaking. Cheng Shaoshang, on the other hand, felt that if this matter could not be resolved properly now, she would have to shrink back down forever, and then began to say to Aunt Fu that Xiao Yuanyi did not punish her now, not because her brother favored her, but because Cheng The mistress is partial to her cousin.

Xiao Yunyi was annoyed by Cheng Shaoshang's words, and felt that she was blaming her, so she asked Aunt Qing to start the family punishment. Seeing this, Cheng Shaogong immediately pleaded with his mother for Cheng Shaoshang, because he didn't think carefully about this matter. As soon as Xiao Yunyi heard this, he vented his grievances saying that if he had sent out the two book cases, there would not be such a difficult situation to end. Cheng Shaoshang straightened her back when she heard it, thinking that Xiao Yuanyi shouldn't blame the innocent parties. Only one book case was sent out, it was one that Chang Shaogong used when he was a child and he wanted to give it to Cheng Shaoshang because he felt bad for her. Cheng Shaoshang felt that her mother acted in favor of her cousin and being unfair. Cheng Song stood up suddenly, knelt down next to Cheng Shaoshang, and claimed that he was willing to be punished instead, and Cheng Heng was no longer timid, and also knelt beside Cheng Shaoshang, saying that he was willing to be punished.

The third aunt took Xiao Yuanyi out of the house under the guise of stomach pain. The third aunt felt that Xiao Yuanyi had done too much, and it was clearly the fault of Cheng Heng's maidservant, but every bad sentence was pointing and blaming Cheng Shaoshang. Xiao Yunyi also just realized that she was stunned by Cheng Shaoshang's words just now, that's why she said disobedience. It could have been made into a minor matter, but Cheng Shaoshang made such a fuss, which made matter bigger. The third aunt suggested that the current situation can be played off by itself, so that it will end better.  Xiao Yuanyi fainted with anger. Cheng Shaoshang just wanted to seek fairness, and wanted motherly love which she never had, when she finally got her mother back -her mother treated her like shit. The third aunt went back to the house, told them that the matter was over, and asked Cheng Shaoshang if she wanted anything. Cheng Shaoshang mentioned that she wanted to go to the lantern festival.

At the Lantern Festival, Cheng Shaoshang and Cheng Heng were so brightly dressed that people couldn't help but stop when they saw these two beautiful girls.  The Liang brothers were ordered to arrange it properly. If someone took the lantern that Xu Jinzhong knew tonight, they would act immediately. Ling Buyi looked at Cheng Shaoshang who was enjoying herself on the street from the city wall, and couldn't take his eyes off of her. The flower building suddenly caught fire, and the people ran away. Cheng Shaoshang squeezed into it trying to find Cheng Shi, but she was almost knocked into the river by accident. Ling Buyi suddenly appeared to rescue Cheng Shaoshang, and then left .
