Fate cannot be seen or touched, but it is a different story in plays and literature. Here, some people can form relationships, while others have other abilities. And this story of fate begins here. One day, young master Hou Wei went to the Red Thread Temple to pray to the Matchmaker for a good relationship. The shadow guard of the Hou Mansion, Wei Ying, felt that his young master lacked nothing in terms of marriage. He was always at the top of the list of eligible bachelors in the Matchmaking Department.

However, only Wei Qi, the person involved, knew the bitterness behind it. For five years, the eligible young men in the capital had already married many wives and concubines, while he was still on the list of eligible bachelors. People who came to the Hou Mansion to propose marriage came one after another, but they all ended up breaking off the engagement.

The master at the Red Thread Temple gave Wei Qi a method: on an auspicious day, find a hundred-year-old peach tree, make a blood oath, and use money as a token to borrow luck from the Flower God. Wei Qi received the incense burner from the master with great piety and decided to give it a try. Just as the ceremony was about to be completed, a person "fell" from the sky. However, Wei Qi never expected that the person who came was a man. The visitor was the recently wanted Qingtian Fox from the government office, sent to beat him up by someone else.

Wei Qi was determined to protect his incense burner and remained in a defensive state. However, the Qingtian Fox was relentless and intentionally knocked over the incense burner. Wei Qi was so angry that he took off his coat and was ready to fight the Qingtian Fox to the death. But just as he was about to fight back, he accidentally hit a stone and fell forward uncontrollably. He hit the Qingtian Fox's mask and accidentally kissed his lips before passing out.

Zhou Yuan hurried back to Qingyun Academy before her older brother found out. She was secretly happy holding the fox mask, but she didn't know that Wei Qi was rushing towards her. Speaking of Qingyun Academy, it used to be the Ministry of War's martial arts field. Now it is the highest institution for selecting martial arts talents for the court, only accepting male disciples and divided into three levels: Cloud, Wind, and Earth. The best ones enter the Piaomiao Courtyard and wear white clothes; the second-best enter the Fuyao Hall and wear blue clothes; and the worst enter the Fangyuan Room and wear brown clothes. If you encounter someone wearing clothes of a different color, you must detour. Just as she was speaking, several dandies were disrespectful to her brother. Zhou Yuan.

When Zhou Yuan was young, she suffered from a strange illness. If she became emotional, she would fall ill. Therefore, the doctor sealed her acupoints, making it difficult for her to become emotional. Because of this, her family did not force her to learn feminine skills, but allowed her to practice martial arts with ease. They even supported her to dress as a man and attend Qingyun Academy. She was enjoying her first day at Qingyun Academy when she unexpectedly encountered two unwelcome guests. One of these guests was Wei Qi, who she beat up today.

See Wei Qi concentrate on the chessboard, and Li Mian, the son of the leader of the Wumeng, came forward to joke. After a few words, the two started fighting, and as expected, Wei Qi won again. Zhou Yuan was watching with fascination and couldn't help but think of the wish charm he had picked up from Wei Qi that day. While she was thinking about it, she was bumped into by someone, and the wish charm flew out and landed at her brother's feet. What was even more nerve-wracking was that Wei Qi was coming this way at this time. Wei Qi thought Zhou Ping was Qingtian Fox and shouted that he wanted to compete with him. Zhou Yuan saw the situation and hurried back to change clothes, put on a mask, and came out to help her brother.

But she was no match for Wei Qi, and could only escape to the Red Line Temple. She was about to jump onto the roof to hide, but unexpectedly was sucked into the painting. And the fairy Pei from under the moon really appeared in front of her, taking her to experience the world of illusion.

However, Zhou Yuan never expected that she would see with her own eyes that the matchmaker's red line in her hand was directly connected to Wei Qi's hand. Just when she was full of disbelief, she suddenly flew out of the painting and fell onto Wei Qi. After some probing, Wei Qi found that this "man" who suddenly appeared in the Red Line Temple was not Qingtian Fox. Lord Wei Ning of the Hou Mansion heard that Wei Qi had caused trouble at Qingyun Academy and was about to go there.
