Hwang Jung Eum is a South Korean actress and singer. She is a former member of K-pop group Sugar.

In January 2008, Hwang Jung Eum confirmed that she was dating musician Kim Yong Jun from the ballad trio SG Wannabe for 2 years. They first met when she starred in one of SG Wannabe's MVs, My Heart's Treasure Box, in 2005. In 2009, the couple joined as cast members in the second season of the dating reality show "We Got Married" and by that became the first real-life couple to be featured on the show. On May 15, 2015, the couple decided to part ways after nine years of on and off dating.

On December 8, 2015, her agency confirmed that she's dating former pro golfer and current businessman Lee Young Don, who's 4 years older than her. The couple got married on February 26, 2016, at the Shilla Hotel after six months of dating. Hwang was confirmed to be four months pregnant in February 2017 and then gave birth on August 15, 2017.
