After the full rescue efforts of medical staff, Wang Sufang finally regained consciousness. She did not want to drag Ma Kui and Ma Yan down, so she begged the attending doctor to conceal her condition. Ma Kui and Ma Yan then rushed to the hospital. Shen Xiuping lied that Wang Sufang had low blood sugar due to malnutrition and asked Wang Sufang to be hospitalized for observation for a few days. Ma Kui did not ask any questions.

Wang Sufang was worried that her adopted son Ma Jian would not be taken care of. Ma Kui asked the neighbors to take turns taking care of him, and Wang Sufang felt relieved. Ma Kui met Lu Xuelin by chance on the train. Lu Xuelin revealed that his fiancée Yuxia no longer forced him to be transferred to Harbin. Ma Kui saw that he was wearing a black veil and said nothing.

Wang Yongge and Wang Xin came to the hospital to see Wang Sufang and asked Ma Kui to go back to rest. Wang Xin stayed to accompany Wang Sufang. Early the next morning, Ma Yan came to the hospital early to change Wang Xin. Yao Yuling came later. As soon as she met, she held Wang Xin's arm and asked questions. Wang Xin repeatedly explained that there was no possibility between the two of them, and Ma Yan left in anger. After Wang Sufang was discharged from the hospital, Shen Xiuping often came to take care of her and took the initiative to take Ma Jian home.

After Niu Dali fell out of love, he was in a bad mood. He would yell at Wu Changgui if he didn't go well. Wu Changgui knew that he was broken up and didn't care too much about him. A passenger was extorted by three people. When he refused to cooperate, he was beaten up. Wang Xin and Ma Kui rushed to stop the incident. The injured passenger found a witness, but the witness refused to testify.

When the witness got off the bus at the station, Ma Kui and Wang Xin followed him to his home. He refused to cooperate and turned Wang Xin and Ma Kui away. Wang Xin advised Ma Kui to give up as soon as possible and not to get entangled in this small case. Let go, Ma Kui scolded Wang Xin. That night, Ma Kui and Wang Xin came to see the witness again, but he still refused to testify. Ma Kui knew that the group was local gangsters, and the witness was afraid of retaliation, so he did not dare to testify.

Ma Kui and Wang Xin were waiting outside, and the witness told the truth truthfully. He also revealed that the woman trafficker stunned the little boy and then got off at Yongqing Station. The police found the abducted boy based on clues provided by witnesses, but the trafficker escaped.
